The Exchanging Perspectives Toolkit is the product of a project led by Young in Prison in partnership with Defence for Children Belguim and Defence for Children Italy, with the support of the European Commission.

This manual will give you further insights into the theory of change of the Youthlab and how each activity and engage with the youngsters support this change. The manual is also available in French , Italian , and Dutch.
The Workshop Model is a more practical tool to support you in facilitating the different sessions, with outline of activities and case studies. It is also available in French and Italian.
In addition, you can explore the Needs’ Assessment from all partners (Young in Prison, DCI Italy and DEI – Belgium) and the aggregated report, developed by the University of Amsterdam (UvA). You can use them as inspiration for your own needs’ assessment with local or national justice professionals.
DEI Belgium has produced “Mineurs face à la Justice” – a three-part series of podcasts with youngsters sharing their experience with the criminal justice – make sure to listen to it on Spotify.
